1.Greeting 

2.Talk about the mysteries they can think about. 

3.Retell the contents about Stonehenge.Review the words and expressions in the passage and

the linking words. 

★Step 2 Cooperative inquiry 【合作探究】

1.Finish the task in 3a  

①Read the passage in Section A 3a again.

②Each group reports and the class discuss. 

③Ask the students to choose some ideas and fill in the column in 3a.

2.Finish the task in 3b

①Read the instructions.

②Write the story. 

③Get some of the students to read aloud their passages.

3.Finish the tasks in Self Check

Activity 1 

①Ask one student to tell how to use these modal verbs and review the grammar.

②Fill in the blanks on their own.The teacher walks around and check.

③Ask five students to read out the complete sentences.

Activity 2 

①Read the istructions and the chart. 

②Review “be one's” and “belong to sb.”. 

③Ask some students to read aloud their sentences.
